How Can I Help?

Unsure what training you and your dog would benefit from?

Want to meet the trainer before you sign up?

Do your dogs need to be assessed for problem behaviours or need a bit more of a specialized approach?

Need to get household members or certain guests on the same page?

An initial consultation is the perfect place to start!

During an initial consultation I am able to see the bigger picture of the: behaviours, environment in which the behaviours occur, human interactions with the dogs during the behaviour, etc. From here, I start building a customized game plan for everybody involved. I encourage involvement from everybody who interacts with the dog(s).

When you sign-up for 4+ private training sessions within 48hrs of your initial consult, it becomes your first session; this fee drops off of your total package price.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of dog do you work with?

“No Bad Dogs” means no breed discrimination. We work with companion dogs and specialize in working breeds/more serious breeds.

What is the investment?

Initial consultations: $120 per 1-1.5 hours (even for multi dog homes).

Most private training sessions range from $80-$106 per 1 hour session.

Group training and semi-private ranges from about $50-$100 per 1 hour training session.

Does my dog need to have vaccinations?

Yes, unless you’re planning to do virtual training, your dog does need to have their vaccinations up to date. Pups need to be up to date on vaccinations (minimally 2nd set of vaccinations) and be 10 weeks+ for in-person sessions.

What results do you guarantee?

You are welcome to discuss this at any point during your training program sessions. Generally results are not guaranteed, as there are many variables in training. However, I can help you set realistic training goals, according to what progress and training I see happening with you and your dog; I can also give you tools to help you and your dog achieve those goals.

Is my dog too young for training?

Getting training and proper socialization ASAP for young pups is extremely important. There is a crucial socialization period that closes between the 3-6month period, where is it exceptionally important to know how to introduce your pup properly to new objects, people, dogs, etc. to build confidence. That being said, if you miss this time period, there is still a ton we can do to help build confidence and introduce proper socialization. Especially during the different fear periods that occur up to around 2 yrs of age.

Is my dog too old for training?

Absolutely NOT! Any dog who is cognitively normal is capable of learing new things. Many older dogs can hugely benefit from: learning how to calm their minds, more structure, living more balanced lived, etc. Owners can be taught how to help their dogs (and themselves) live less stressful lives at any age.

How it works

We can assess in your home, or most places where the problem behaviour(s) occur. We aim to train in real life situations or simulate them as closely as possible.

Why is this beneficial?

Setting up an initial consultation allows you to meet the trainer and see our training style. The trainer can meet you and your dog(s), properly address the situation, begin to create a game plan and make professional recommendations for what training will be most beneficial.
